Inspiring Art for a Mobile World

This week I had the opportunity to present my first academic object lesson at the British Museum. It was a short talk on the role that art played in the dissemination. The talk was based on a sculpture of the Buddha in the traveling form, and it highlighted the ways in which conservation and art history can collaborate to reveal stories of human artistic expression.

This material will become part of a workshop in 2024.
