School Shootings and the Sense of Disconnection

As part of the Tuesday Night Tune In, Ayya Dhammadipa shared her thoughts and feelings about the tragic shooting at an Uvalde, Texas elementary school and the recent trend of mass shootings in the United States.

Ayya calls on folks to create connection and community, offer care and compassion, so that we will see less violence in our country and in the world. She describes some of the ways that Dharma practitioners might understand the causes of this problem, and compassionate ways to respond.
