Tuesday Tune In Recordings

Last night was the first Tuesday night Tune In, a new online program that will be a regular part of the vihara’s weekly schedule.

I gave a meditation on three aspects of the breath, and then a Dhamma talk on the three marks of reality. Thinking more about these characteristics of our experience - impermanence, dukkha, and non-self - it occurs to me to add one more comment. As practitioners, it’s important to keep watching the tendency to be aware only of destruction or only of arising, to be focused exclusively on predictability or uncertainty. All of those things are present, and a skillful way of relating to them is to abide in the fullness of all of it.

If you missed the program, you can view the recordings here, using the passcode: *o4w@rE7

Don’t forget to include the star in the code. Also, each part of the evening was recorded separately. Use the >| button to move forward to the second recording (talk) or the |< button to move backward to the first recording (meditation).
