Buddhist art is vast and varied, and its lovely forms express devotion to the Path, the aspiration for awakening, and worldly desires. It is some of the most complex and sublime artistic expression in the world.
Join Dhammadipa for a workshop studying some of the first known mobile Buddha images and exploring their influence on Buddhist practice. This workshop will include a detailed study of iconic Buddhist objects that were the subject of Dhammadipa’s art history thesis.
