What can we say about the qualities of liberation, the radical freedom from samsara? What is liberation like? What key features—impermanence, non-duality, compassion, non-self—characterize this experience? How do such experiences impact our lives and how we respond to the world?
The many lineages of Buddhism address these questions in ways that sometimes converge and sometimes seem quite different. Through dharma talks, conversation, and guided meditation, seven Dhamma teachers will explore liberation through the teachings of these traditions in a way that is grounded in experience.
This online retreat is hosted by the Barre Center for Buddhist Studies and is offered by donation.
