Buddhist Art Workshop: Virtual Tour of the British Museum

Buddhist art is vast and varied, and its lovely forms express devotion to the Path, the aspiration for awakening, and worldly desires. It is some of the most complex and sublime artistic expression in the world. For this reason, Buddhist art is found in the collections of prestigious museums around the world. It is also found at a number of World Heritage sites.

Join Dhammadipa for a workshop exploring four of the most esteemed collections of Buddhist art in the world. The workshop will include a virtual tour of the location, detailed study of iconic Buddhist objects, and interactive sessions exploring the connection between what is depicted and our personal experiences of the Path.

The British Museum is located in London, England UK.

*All virtual tours from 6:00 to 8:30 pm Eastern US time.

Registration TBA. The workshops are offered by donation.
