Death Tearoom

What is a Death Tearoom?

Facilitated by Dhammadipa.

A Death Tearoom is inspired by the global Death Café movement, which encourages thoughts and discussion around the often-avoided subject of death.

Ours is a lightly facilitated gathering where we can freely discuss death while eating cake and drinking tea or coffee. We provide a safe and structured space for an open conversation with a Buddhist spiritual presence. It is a guided meditation and a discussion conducted in small groups with prompts from the facilitator, rather than a grief support or counseling session.

Note: This event takes place at a private home and NOT at the vihara.

Registration is required. Space is limited.
